Sudan: Oil related news in brief.
Sudan's Interior Minister said despite plots to abort the export of the first Sudanese oil shipment by June the 30th, the government was determined that the Sudanese oil will be exported in that date.

companies, banks and other units in the country are to observe
Wednesday the Public Service Day. The day will be assigned to reflect the security threats which face the country and exploitation of the Sudanese oil resources.

Petroleum Revenues Will Be Directed To Support Development Projects - Dr. Turabi

Al-Obied, May 11 (SUNA)-National Congress Secretary General Dr. Hassan Al-Turabi, stressed that Sudan is on its way to be one of the world's richest countries and called for adopting economic revolutions to create a scientifically and economically developed state.

This came when Dr. Al-Turabi was addressing, Tuesday, the opening session of the foundation conference of North Kordofan State's Congress.

He emphasized that proceeds of the Sudanese petroleum would be directed to finance water projects, roads building and supporting electricity and health services.
