Mike - (...the punch bowl is here to stay. The party goes on until the party goers get alcohol poisoning. I have given up predicting the end ( perhaps a sign -g-) but would expect some severe tough love sometime this year. Things will have to run their course until the bubble bursts...)

I simply can't imagine that the market can stay up as Y2K approaches, no matter what the FED or any government branch does or doesn't do. It doesn't make any difference whether there will be an actual problem or not, either fear or the rational expectation of other people's fear should rule against holding unhedged long positions.
