you and others keep concentrating on pc's. remember that is only 1/3 of the projected revenue stream for rambus
rdram in pc's will happen this year, rdram in servers will happen this year, rdram in laptops will happen early next year,(could happen this year but there just ain't enough rdram's to go around yet), rdram in nintendo is happening now, rdram in sony playstation II will happen this year.
rdram in dvd's, rdram in copiers, rdram in printers, rdram in multi-function devices, rdram in scanners will all happen as soon as production increases. and the biggy, rdram in digital tv will happen very soon. and rdram in high speed telephone equipment is happening now.
AND, this is my prediction... you are going to see a rambus interface on embedded chips using the arm (armhy) core being produced by intel, lucent, and qualcomm this year or very early next year. these will be used for everything from cell phones to automobile airbags to you name it.
you are gonna learn to love your rdrams.
