Interesting story today quoting Haruka Fukuda, CEO of the World Gold Council. Points out the coincidence of the two highest profile gold sales of the last few years, Canada and Australia and the rapid devaluation of their currencies. Perhaps we could add others to the list such as Russia which sold off the gold in their treasury in the late 1980's, and such wannabes as the Swiss and Brits (soon to be?). Dave
