To all who are willing to indulge me:

In terms of cars and wheels of which most of us have a better
understanding (cars being Oricle, NEX, IBM, etc and wheels being
IDX (the Michelin), Printrak, FINX, DBI, etc., what wheel speed rating
would you assign the "two dimensional" scanners and newer "liquid
platen" scanner.

Being a novice, I'll hazard the guess of 2-D's at 150mph with LP's
at 200mph. If my uneducated guess is correct, it seems that current
technology should be sufficient for almost all application.

What do you guys think?
