I truly believe marriage is one zillion times more important to women than it is to men in general. It's part of their instinct, their make-up, their nature etc...etc... For me, it feels much safer being single. I'm 42 and I've never had the urge to get married yet so I doubt it'll ever happen but as I said before I do have an open mind.
