Unfulfilled split talk leads to stock price drop = stockholders are idiots. If this happens with CSCO I would sell it and pick a stock that has smarter stockholders. If you expect it to happen, you should sell the stock right now and buy one whose stockholders have IQ's more consistent with yours. <g>.
