I did it simply as a way to leverage the current depressed price and allow ample time for the merger and recovery in the networking group.

I got killed in February (didn't we all), March is starting to look dicey, plus I'm already in on May and August expiration.

If they don't start moving on up pretty soon, Mr. Cowell is going to have to set 4 more places at his dinner table.

Just ignore the fact that they are called LEAPS. They are Jan 98 or Jan 99 expiry options. They will move more-or-less with the price (less volatility), the time value diminishes more slowly. However, keep in mind the lower liquidity from lack of trading volume.

I would like to know if they automatically convert into the UQX series options when January comes over the horizon.
