If it cost too much AOL would not have chosen it.

The AOL TV box has to come in under $500.
You can buy a WebTv box for less thatn $200.

The NSM part is cheap.
You can buy a PC based on it for $299 (get 'em while they last).

BTW: That $299 PC can do AOL.
Scrape off the junk that makes it a PC, put a reasonable graphics to TV converter and you could do it for under $200.

Depends on the application. In this case, for just web browsing, this is sufficient.
