I'm afraid I've had to learn the hard way the differences between billing and revenue recognition! Especially, with the changes in accounting codes the past couple of years there isn't much room to play around with billing. If it ships and title passes, its billed, and you have to recognize the revenue based upon your forward obligations. Not so much room for creative accounting anymore.

It used to be so much more fun... ;-)
