I will take a few moments to comment. I have been a silent observer of this thread for months now. If Paul, Jack, and Jules have moved on, the loss is this thread's. I hope they'll reconsider coming back.
Jules made two absolutely great calls during the time I watched the thread. The puts on IBM (I remember the post - it happened the day before IBM lost 9 pts), and recently the purchase of INTC calls at when the stock price was trading intraday around 137. Another superb call. I sure noticed if nobody else did, Jules.
Paul demonstrated superb mastery of the technical aspects. Products, semiconductor manufacturing, etc., and also had a wonderful historical perspective. I learned a lot from Paul.
As a fundamental investor (I am long INTC), I found Jack's comments to be interesting and cogent although I wasn't ready to buy into the approach. I liked reading his posts. I think we can all learn more about trading strategies and Jack made it easy. I didn't even care about the walk down astrology lane. People take things so literally sometimes.
As a matter of fact, I had just put together the chapter headings on a new book: Investing With Intel: Strategies to Making Money With The World's Most Successful Corporation, with the hope of possibly luring these experts (and possibly others) into participating in a collaborative effort. Well, if they never come back, too bad for me!.
I hope we see them again in either this thread or another of the new ones started by you, jmac.
Regards to all and thanks for welcoming me to the thread.
