EDIG deadlines missed? Walter, I was curious about your allegations that EDIG missed deadlines with Lucent & Lanier. Rather than spending time searching, I emailed EDIG directly to find out! Rather me searching, etc. to find out whether there was any substance to it, I thought I'd take the easy way out & just ask you... ------------------------------------------------ EDIG missed its Lucent prototype deadline by a few weeks. They missed the Lanier date by a few months (so far). Is anybody concerned the EDIG may not have a product ready for the market in time for the holidays? ------------------------------------------------ Forget about the question in it... Deadlines missed...? I personally think it's better to deliver a good product a little late than deliver a poor product early or on-time. There were no deadlines publicly announced by the company for either of the two generations of music-player prototypes delivered by e.Digital to Lucent. Production units have not begun shipping to Lanier. Beta units have been receiving great reviews from their customers, and when news comes out, the e-mail list will definitely be informed.
