One thing to recall is that OmniTRACS was the original part of the business, which generated cash flow to help commercialize CDMA. Now that cash flow is assisted by outright profits from CDMA equipment, plus royalties, it seems to me that if it wanted, QCOM could spin off this division. Or they could use all this cash flow to (1) begin paying a dividend, or better (2) buy back shares.
