Via email @ davidjdiricco@worldnet.att.net Dave – In response to your shareholder's question regarding our technical expertise, I am providing you a background on our two key players. MetroPlus hired James Martell as General Manager in February of 1999 and Chuck Anderson in last month. I work closely with these two gentlemen on all aspects of the business. In addition, we hire consultants to review or plans and technical applications. James Martell, General Manager James Martell, age 35, was born and educated in Canada and has 6 years of experience in the PC based telecommunications industry. James Martell began his career in this industry in 1991 with the development of the concept of “flat-rate long distance calling” (extended local calling). In early 1992 James Martell joined forces as VP of Marketing with Canalink Communications Ltd. a Burnaby based company specializing in the development and manufacturing of telecommunications systems and platforms. Canalink went on to offer a license program (business opportunity) through its various flat-rate calling zones including Duncan - Victoria, Victoria and Naniamo to Vancouver, Chilliwack and Abbotsford to Metro Vancouver. James Martell was in charge of Licensed Agent expansion and successfully recruited many interested parties whom became licensees in all of the above areas as well as many others. In October of 1993 James formed a Flat Rate Calling company called A&A Call Link Tele-solutions Inc. with partners. As President and VP of Marketing James went on to build a very solid stable customer base (1,200) which has the highest monthly per customer fee ($18.00) in the Province of British Columbia at the time. James sold his interests in Call Link in January 1995. Since then, James has consulted for various telecommunications companies and has helped them develop successful marketing materials and programs. In November 1995 James Martell along with Chuck Anderson began to formulate the plan for the Talking Directory as outlined within this business plan. James is a great asset to TELfx Production Inc.'s diversification and expansion program. Charles Anderson, Vice President of Operations Charles Anderson, at age 26 born and educated in Canada, has been working in the telecommunications industry for the past 2 years. Charles comes from a background of over 6 years in Electronics Manufacturing Engineering in the microelectronics field of the Hearing Instrument industry. Much of this 6 years was spent performing hands-on engineering in manufacturing and R & D as well as various supervisory and management roles. The last 3 years in this industry were spent with Gennum Corporation in Burlington, Ontario, a world class manufacturer of integrated circuits and microelectronics which supplied to approximately 96% of the hearing instrument industry. In 1994, Charles left the electronics industry to pursue other business interests. In early 1995, Charles began in the telecommunications industry working with Dynacom Corporation and First Star Communications to develop their communications platforms. These companies engaged in providing such services as voice mail and paging services, fax-on-demand, and fax broadcasting. Since then, Charles has consulted on various telecommunications projects including enhanced IVR applications and extend local calling and has helped these companies to successfully implement and operate their platforms as well as assisting with their marketing and sales effort. In November 1995 Charles Anderson, along with James Martell, began to formulate the plan for the Talking Directory as outlined within this business plan. Charles is a great asset to TELfx Production Inc.'s diversification and expansion program through his solid engineering, technical, and marketing abilities |
