Eric: Not only will the proposed changes stifle new enterprises, but from what I understand of them, would have its greatest impact on the kind of accounting practices (pooling of interest for one) which Cisco has so successfully exploited to fuel their rapid expansion through acquisitions. I don't know nearly as much as I would like to know about this area. Do you, or anyone else, know of a good source that explains the proposed changes? Regards and aloha.
