I think that IMDS should stay out of forien markets right now because of threat to piracy. Forien competetors will copy machines without being held to patend laws over there and sell the machines on their own. Without a sale force to beat the competition to the customer, IMDS would not be wise to go. HOWEVER, if they partner with a company that has the resources to successfully navigate the forien markets without a hightend risk of patend infringement then by all means sell as many as posible. Therfore the first step for IMDS is to have a company like Hologic, GE or somebody big come in and partner with IMDS to capitalize on the sales potential. I feel that the efforts need to be put towards the U.S. and getting the FDA approval.
