with all due respect, i think it is a bit premature to be comparing msft to mo if not perhaps even ridiculous.

to date, i do not believe windows or any other msft product has killed anyone :)

even if msft did lose at this level, it will surely go to appeals which will take years to decide. at which time the ruling would be almost useless considering the blinding speed at which technology changes.

let's consider for a moment even the worst case scenario, how much could each dissatisfied consumer realistically expect to recover from msft?? no much more than the $100 of so they paid for windows and even less if it was included with the machine when purchased. there certainly will not be any damages awarded to disgruntled consumers unlike the sky high damages that mo is facing.

it's never too late to buy msft, i think.
