Linda... Re: ALTIF Currently this stock is trading at under 5 so I assume it is not possible to short or that is my understanding. Their claims are two fold. 1. They are claiming some kind of a centrifugal jig in which they can separate various minerals from sand at a cost that is much less than what is currently available on the market. 2. They have a lot of land in Tenn. in which they claim that is very rich in ore deposits that when mined will produce huge profits. These claims have been around for quite some time. Unfortunately, their Jig has not yet been perfected. It sounds to me a little like Vasomax without the need of FDA approval!! Regarding their land, it seems like they commission study after study to let the world know that there are huge ore deposits. Their latest study can be found at biz.yahoo.com They lose money every Q and I do not think they have made a profit in any Q since they have gone public. They are getting low on cash in that they lose about $2m/Q and have currently $3M in cash. Their stock price has ranged between 6-8 for the most part for the past year with one dip to about 4 and one spike to about 10. I am about ready to take my profits and go onto something else. When I cannot figure out why anyone would go long on this stock except the HOPE of a good Jig and potentially some land that has valuable ore I cannot predict the future of this stock. Thus it just might be the time to take profits and run. Also, it just might spike up to 10 again and I would enjoy the ride down again. Bob T.
