" What is the real point of Net 2 Phone? How does N2P become the ultimate "Cash Cow"? I've been asking these questions and looking for some simple answers that I believe I've found. Why are the N2P/AOL/Netscape/?/?/? CI relationships sooooo important? I suggest that you read the entire article (these are excerpts) as it points out where this "system" enabling ability is ultimately heading, and why it is the IDTC network that makes it unique.
I also stumbled across a N2P competitor that might be infringing on the use of an IDTC trademarked name-Click2talk, a product called "eBridge" by eFusion, uses the "click to talk slogan in conjunction with their products promotion. If you read their profile and mission you'll also find several reasons that could inhibit any future association between IDTC/AOL and Microsoft due to MSFT's investments in eFusion along with AT&T, although the dynamics of business easily sweeps many things under the rug.
N2P is poised with pending alliances to lay claim to massive new sources of revenue as long as they implement and execute "The Plan"; as the journey continues- (Duoscope)
