havn't heard of these conferences, but the cable/media world has lots of them. This month SFA will be having new technology demos featuring WGAT and others in their alliance. I think there was a release on that last month. The conference you are referring to might be of that. Also, there is another company, SeaChange (SEAC), I recall they are some former HP guys that target advertising to regions using "Spot" technology(?).
