[TI]---Pat, The only big winner in the techs today today was
you guessed it , "TI". Every other big cap stock got crushed.
It's obvious that some analysts understand what TI has in its
dsp chip. Why don't they recognize that Amati has a lot to do
with the making of it and will share in its revenue? Why can't
mgmt. put out a press release that specifically addresses future
revenue from this important achievement? Can you get Carlini's
or Steenburgen's ear to press this issue. The market will only
respond to revenue announcements and not alliances, trials, etc.
Projected revenue will boost the stock to its proper value and
keep it there. Right now, analysts are forecasting a loss for
Amati for fy end 7-31-98 not to mention this fy end. If mgmt.
truly believes they will see a profit by qtr.end 10-31-97, by all
means, announce to the world that they will be profitable within
six months. The market looks ahead 6-9 months in valuing stocks,
why can't they see that TI + AMTX= PROFIT IN 1997.

Keep your chin up.
