This deal is extremely questionable IMHO.

Apparently you need a seperate phone line for uplinking.

In addition you need a seperate satellite antenna installed with reciever.

This translates to $200-300 expense per customer to get started and then the service and access is not cheap.

I don't see 1M folks signing up in year 1 let alone 10M folks.

This is simply a sexy announcement with not much behind it.

The key for AOL is ADSL as they are leveraged out of the Cable market.
