IMHO this war is carrying a huge price tag for the U.S., not only in $$ but more in the loss of political power in Russian and Chinese relations.

Granted the Chinese government are using the Embassy bombing as a way to politically turn the public against the U.S., away from their own domestic problems and military espionage. They are also trying to gain political leverage; the U.S. now "owes them one".

Net result is we have moved back into the cold-war.
