4.) The seduction of the disadvantaged into a demeaning lifestyle that often leads to psychological trauma, most notably difficulties surrounding the formation of one's own relationships;
5.) The cesspool effect, where sex businesses push past the relatively innocent into catering to the perverse, including but not limited to dangerous sado- masochistic practices and the provision of children for their customers, and become havens for drug abuse;
6.) The continuing advantage, even in the context of legality, for the pimp or madam to maintain control over their charges by extortion and drugs, and the continuing incentive to use opportunities to blackmail;
7.) The deleterious effect on legitimate businesses in resort areas as families flee areas of vice.
