Brendon or anyone else,why can't ADSL or HDSL technology be used on HFC systems? If you can increase the perormance of copper,why can't you increase the performance of superior bandwidth pipes? There is new research being done all over the world on fiber optics,do you think they can come up with a solution to the shared bandwidth problem? Also if you decrease the number of households per node to around 500,it will increase the speed. What they need there is more fiber in the loop?Any ideas? Tim
