Hello Mel,

I would like to ask you the same question I've already asked because you seem to be the "most in-the-know" in regards to Gift.

In the year and a half/two years since the initial filing, e-commerce has changed drastically, as has the entire Internet. There are companies every day coming on-board in hoards selling something to someone. There are companies working on secured money exchanges.

This unquestionably is the future for alot of companies. No one seems to be concerned over patents or patents pending. It is just full steam ahead.

My question, in light of my premise above, is this: If E-Data wins this case, how in the world can these "Three Men and a Suit" possibly mobilize in order to secure a multi-million $(billion?) business. Will it will be up to them to police all inter-state commerce transactions for violations?

I don't see how they could do it; and IF the world who stands to give up big monies sees this the same way, do you really think a court is going to rule in their favor? Un-popular laws don't get passed in my opinion.

Am I wrong? Your comments are very much appreciated, even needed at this point. BTW, I am very looooooong on Gift, but I feel like I am asking for the "Force" to be with me.

Charles
