Larry, you installed one way cable, how about 2-way HFC?I own HLIT and it has been falling,it manufactures and install HFC systems for TCI,TWX,COX. I believe that cable companies like COX and Continental are miles ahead in technology and real world experience thant the RBOC's. I would lay my bets with Cox and Continental rather than Bell South or Nynex. I think HFC systems can be improved and the problems of shared bandwidth can be overcome.I have seen cable modems that are like ADSL different speeds upsream and downstream. Now that MOT and BAY are producing superior cable modems and USRX will be won't the technology solve the problems? Cable you don't have to dial in,it has greater bandwith,is more durable and costs are dropping. I hope I am right and didn't lay an egg with HLIT. Tim
