Olsinvest: Lucent is in the process of contracting with a brand name to market their music recorder. The deal will be completed and announced soon because time is essential. There may be speculation as to Sony being involved. Todays news hasn't changed anything. Read this paragraph from today's release: >>Microsoft invited Sony Music to evaluate its beta version of Windows Media 4.0, including Windows Media Rights Manager and Windows Media Player. Working with Sony Music, Microsoft will enhance the final version of Windows Media 4.0 with the intent of meeting the initial portable device requirements under development by SDMI, which are expected to be finalized June 30. This would 0make Windows Media 4.0 one of the technologies around which hardware manufacturers could design compliant portable players.<< Sony has division for marketing hardware and it's not Sony Music.
