Not the fact that JAWZ is a founding member or the consortium but the fact that other future members can license the technology through the consortium. Here is an organization tasked with promoting and organizing the ASP industry. If they say "yes, you can license this particular technology through us" to new members, they are endorsing the technology. The endorsement is implicit with the license, imo. Furthermore, although I am not a lawyer, I would think that there may be potential legal liability for the consortium (and hence its members) associated with providing the licensing "service". The fact that the consortium (and its member companies)is willing to assume this potential liability is, again imo, a de facto endorsement of the technology. fwiw, Eric
