(02/26/97; 9:50 a.m. EST)
By Michael Kanellos, Computer Reseller News

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. -- Oracle subsidiary Network Computing will unveil its plans for Intel-based network computers at OracleWorld in
Japan on April 16.

An Intel-based NC appeals to value-added resellers because of corporate America's familiarity with the platform. "For $100 more, we believe that the corporate marketplace will go for an Intel processor," said Jerry Baker, chief executive of Network Computing. The Intel machines are expected to cost about $600.
