O H, An order of magnitude estimate usually means within a factor of 2 each way; eg, 100 is guaranteed to be somewhere between 50 and 200. Guess some binary person decided the range; a decimal 10 to 1000 would be sort of useless :) Our engineers called it a WAG => wild ass guess. Bob
