this episode does set up the next season pretty well when you add the judge to the puzzle..

It's interesting that they made sure not to clear anyone but to leave you with the impression that George Vogelman is the attacker. Now, having said this, watch him really turn out to be the attacker next season. I have my doubts, but, we shall see.
