NEWS RELEASE SHRINKGUARDTM AND ODORGUARDTM SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED AT THE CHICAGO TRADE SHOW
Raytec Capital Corp. is pleased to announce the successful launch of ShrinkGUARDTM and another dry media chlorine dioxide (dmCl02) product application, OdorGUARDTM to retailers at the recent Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Trade Show, Chicago, Illinois.
By twelve noon on the first day of the show the Company had received a record number of enquiries on ShrinkGUARDTM and OdorGUARDTM. Based on these discussions, the Company's sales team will be working with certain store groups in the next several months to secure orders, and discuss pricing and individual programs for these store groups. The only concern raised by retailers was the color scheme of the ShrinkGUARDTM matting which will be changed to accommodate them.
The FMI show is the Western Hemisphere's biggest annual supermarket exposition. More than 35,000 industry professionals attend FMI, including independent operators, chain executives, buyers and category managers, store and department managers, wholesale executives and brokers.
OdorGUARDTM area deodorizing sachet, for use in seafood cases, milk cases, ripening rooms, trash cans and recycle centers, is a breakthrough technology that eliminates unpleasant odors in confined spaces. Unlike traditional deodorizing technologies, which absorb or simply cover up odors with fragrances, OdorGUARDTM deodorizing sachet releases low concentrations of dmCl02 vapor, which seeks out and destroys noxious, irritating and pungent odor compounds at the source. This breakthrough technology is conveniently packaged as easy-to-use sachets, which begin to release dmCl02 when removed from the foil. This technology is engineered to initiate release of the vapor 90 minutes after opening, and then continue the release for up to 2-4 weeks.
Raytec further announces that, at the Company's recent annual general meeting Jerry A. Minni, Jerry Bella, Ernest C. Goggio, Rob Schmuck and Wendell R. Davis Jr. were appointed directors of the Company for the ensuing year.
