Hmmm.... PowerPC architecture for next gen Nintendo. I would speculate that a possible reason for this would be if nintendo intended for their next gen system to also be able to act as a set-top network computer as well as a gaming console. Interesting.

P.S. I have not been following the console market as much as I should. Does anyone know how much functionality outside of gaming the new sony product will have?
