DD--- LOL:I see! Senator Frank Church...Anyway, all I mean is that there is an inevitable and even healthy bias in human affairs. When a matter is in dispute, it makes sense to defend one's family, friends, and country, not beyond all ethical and logical bounds, but to the extent of giving them the benefit of the doubt. We must have recourse to comrades in times of trouble, and we could rely on no one if they insisted upon sitting back in dispassionate judgment...As far as the failure to take one's own side here, I consider some of the comments here to be shameful for just that reason...
