You underestimate the utter contempt Dr. Damadian has for GE. You have to understand that he is not motivated by $$$. He is a deeply religious individual who is determined to bring the cost of MRI scans down to under $100 so that it will become the prime screening modality for mammograms. Were that to happen, not only would GE lose out in the MRI business, but it would severely impact their X-ray business as well.

There is no price that GE could name that would be substantial enough to persuade the good Doctor to sell. Siemens, maybe. GE, NEVER!
