G, OT*** I do not own BRKa/b ... I have been waiting (without getting too morbid) for Buffett to either get sick or pass ... or better, for there to be a misinformed report of his sickness or passing ...

I do think that it has a place in everyone's portfolio ... the characteristics of this entity are incredibly powerful ... it has the resources with which to invest in great companies at times when mutual funds and individuals are panicking or suffering redemptions (or are just plain cash constrained, like me, unfortunately!) ... BRK produces prodigious cash flows/float in all market environments ... this company will benefit like no other if "the Market" corrects in any significant fashion ... which is not to say that BRK stock is immune from a decline ... but, the underlying business gets better as it can invest in great companies at better prices ...
