Fred, I'd say what you don't know won't hurt you; but alternatively, what we didn't know hurt us! For me, losing 8K was no joy.
  A few points:
First, Still waiting for TRGC to change its symbol to TERI so I can change two headers at once. But time has lagged so I'll try to change this one as quickly as possible. I'll make something up so that it'll fit more of a discussion realm rather than a champion piece on a losing stock full of holes.
Secondly, the guy with the long hair is not and was not PartyTime. The dude in that photo seemed more of a West Coaster, certainly not an Easterner. My hair, though getting longer, has been of medium length for quite a bit of time. And for one who'll be 50 next Halloween, I've done well thinking young and beating back the gray.
Thirdly, I've not posted much here because I've been glued to other stocks, trying to get my money back. Came close to halving my losses but slumped down a bit but I'm still on the recovery trail. So my attention has been focused on other stocks. This, plus I've finally moved back into Cambridge and am now restoring an old 18-room dilapidated house into creative arts and living space. I haven't thrown a great party in just about year--it's time to live up to my PartyTime name again!
Fourthly, getting in the taxicab is one of the best things I've done in a long while. I recommend that you all do it. Can't wait till I get hooked up wireless so I can do online trading/research from the cab. And, hopefully, maybe I'll get some stock tips to go along with taxi tips! Who knows!?! (LOL)
In closing, I'm very bummed out by what happened and feel sad for losses of others that go beyond my own. I certainly wished and wanted it all to turn another way than it did. I've learned a valuable lesson and I suspect others have as well. My hope is this bad experience will eventually lead to some good experiences--I don't know any other way to look at it.
I'll try and change the header quickly and will be back more often once I'm more settled into my new home.
  Best to all! PartyTime |
