A comment for all SI readers at this site: If the quiz question was what kinds of deposits are the largest?, what would your answer? Last year I would have said massive sulfides., not being a geologist , but the answer is porphory type deposits like you see with copper and nickel and the base metals . These run into the hundreds of millions of tons. The existence of GOLD PORPHORIES is controversial . However I recently spoke to a geologist from Russia who swears they exist and " are the largest most valuable deposits in the world". Guess now what type of deposit the Goddell is. ( Hint - in case you want one- if it is not a gold porphory it is "porphory like". It may be too early to be certain of any of this but it is one reason I think it is worth a long hard look. If they can determine its relation to porphory type deposits it will give their geologists alot to think about! If it turns out to be a true gold porphory then the tonnage might be incredible. Only time will tell. The gold is clearly fairly disseminated in any case.
