WOULD YOU BUY THE OLD TYPE WITH THIS COMMING??!?1/2 THE SIZE AND A LARGER COOKING CAPACITY>>>>>>DALLAS, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- TurboChef Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRBO) today announced their latest development in commercial "rapid cook" systems. This product, currently in the early prototype stage, is being designed for international customers with "light duty" applications and throughput requirements that are less than that of the currently available "D" model. A demonstration of the unit will take place during the Company's presentation to a group of analysts in New York on Wednesday, May 12. The "rapid cook" counter top prototype reflects the Company's engineering advancements in performance, durability and miniaturization. The system offers an enlarged cooking cavity, faster warm up times and other technological improvements. The significantly reduced exterior dimensions result in an overall size of approximately 11 cubic feet, as compared to the "D" model at 27 cubic feet. The primary markets for this 50Hz unit are the UK and Western Europe. The unit is still in the early prototype stage and is not expected to be available before the first quarter of 2000.
