I have to disagree with your characterization of Tony
Robbins. He is one of the top motivational speakers
around, and I would venture to say he could light a fire
under just about anyone. Many top athletes,
entrepreneurs, and even presidents have consulted him and
benefit from his positive messages.
Also, I don't believe he is "pulling" anybody's
"strings".
If you're alluding to the fact that R. Dayne's background
is in PR and she is trained in the techniques of
self-hypnosis,i.e. neuro-liguistic-programming, not
professional trading, then I agree: Spending money and
even more valuable time, on listening to anyone who
professes to be an expert in your field without having
achieved success in that field, is a bigtime waste of
effort. What today's average inexperienced trader needs
is experience in how the markets work, how to interpret
the reams of data at their fingertips, and how to use the
new computer tools, not how to play head games with
himself.
But if you're having problems getting going, are feeling blah, want to kick some bad habit, then listen to Tony Robbins, he is great for that stuff. I don't know what you'd want to try mental programming/hypnosis for...Maybe if you have some really bad habit... like giving fat chunks of your capital to hypnotists, therapists, and any old sales pitch that comes along; or like repeatedly buying stock and then selling it for less than it cost you...Now that's a nasty habit!
