some notes from cc for Q4, ending Mar. 31:

In a cyclical upturn. Bookings momentum growing. momentum growth has continued into Q1.

Q4 ending Mar 31 was the first Q with postive BTB. Exact number not released, but consistent with industry-wide BTB of 1.31

Expect GM to improve from 37% to mid-to-high 40's in upturn. Co. is controlling costs by outsourcing and improving mfg.

orders are 44% north america, 45% asia-pacific.

backlog was $33 M, plus at least $20 M for the recently-announced TI order.

goal: profitability by Sept. or Dec. quarter.

DRAM is insignificant portion of orders.

In Asia there are 10 new 200mm fabs planned, and Asyst expects to get 80% penetration, which is much higher than previously. (was unclear to me whether this might merely be due to the mix of DRAM vs. non-DRAM fabs).

I counted 5 analysts asking questions. Two congratulated mgmt.

The recently acquired companies seem to be doing okay.
