TRUV has been very aggressive in price cutting. For example, they offer street price $1500 Targa1000 PCI for Mac or PC with Adobe Premiere 4.2 Also, they will take $1100 for your used Targa1000 if you buy a Targa2000 DTX AVID just signed a deal with TRUV where TRUV becomes a value dealer for complete AVID systems. To me AVID has much faith in TRUV. One thing TRUV has been strong at is customer support. It has quick online free tech support as well. The trade magazines have been very pro-Targa. AVID software works with TRUV stuff, as well as ADBE of course. Thats a big plus. I have Targa gear and its top notch. Have seen AVID's Newcutter and its real fine. I am impressed with their tech support too and they will train you how to use it.
