I find this nearly impossible to believe because if you had been WORKING on Solaris for that time you wouldn't find this suprising at all: 1: uptime 10:22am up 67 day(s), 15:35, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.01, 0.03 (Note the "up 67 day(s)" that's over two months for you jimmy) This is my WORKSTATION that I've been using for heavy development (developers are hard on systems as they do strange things and can get systems into crazy states real easily). I'll be you'll have a hard time to find ANY WinTel system that has performed the same level of stability.
