T does have a large customer base. But are you sure that the customer base is Internet related? Yes T owns a lot of gas stations. But do they own the oil refineries? Refineries do need the gas stations for their product outlet. They do not have to go to T for the gas stations when there are other gas station owners. However does T have a choice of refineries and if they do then whom do you think they would want to choose from; Mindspring, Prodigy, UUNet, Earthlink or AOL?

Let us think about this calmly for a little bit and forget about the cheerleading aspect.
