Ha, you beat me to it. I had just copied the URL and came back over to SI to paste it in and viola, you were here already.

I like this part:

of course yields have got to be worse.

Hmmm...s'pose the LED backlight is one of those GaN/phosphor doo-hickies?

I wonder if anyone has made a power efficient driver for this display?

Judging by the market's reaction, I'd say that they are more impressed with the GaAs biz.
