Peppe, nobody will do banking transaction, business vidioconf. via cercuit switches. I was thinking interms fo ATM cell vs.IP. Your question was why we need router with IP and ATM. And this is reason why CSCO started to follow NN last year move to integrate ATM with IP. As for cercuit switches,like narrowband class 4, NN has great solution right now tested by Bell Atlantic and SBC Comm. They can cost by 50% and still using the same ATM platform, which can carry IP services to, but not opposite. This is why ATM will be for very long time: cost and reliabilty as well as easy migration and scaleability. Why CSCO is pushing toward IP/ATM ? Zbyslaw
