USA Video Interactive and UUNET sign agreement for Internet video services USA Video Interactive Corp US Shares issued 54,384,088 May 11 close $0.485 Wed 12 May 99 News Release Mr. Edwin Molina reports USA Video Interactive and UUNET, an MCI WorldCom company, have agreed to collaborate in providing an overall package of Internet services as part of USA Video Interactive's turnkey system. USA Video Interactive will begin offering UUNET's direct subscriber line (DSL) technology and various other high-speed lines to its clients whose video-on-demand requirements include Internet access and transmission. The companies also have entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding that could lead to USA Video Interactive's establishing co-location space with the UUNET network. The companies will explore establishing USA Video Interactive as a channel partner of UUNET whereby USA Video Interactive would provide UUNET's customers with its patented video-on-demand services.
