probability of exercise....in theory not zero, but in practice as close to zero as you can get...the value of the derivitive is worth more up to expiration than the underlying, as it is a trading vehicle, not an investment vehicle...no such thing as limiting your profits, better to lock in that which you know, for you can't spend today what tommorrows opportunity may or may not bring!! remember theory is just that,practice makes almost perfect!!! cheers, ed a..
