Just an example off the top of my head - When Yahoo bought Broadcast.com, AHWY and TUNE took off big. (Sure, TUNE also soon had other news, but even before the other news, they responded to the YHOO/BCST deal). Seems like there must be plenty of others to think of regarding news of IPO's. Somebody should look into On-Line trading deals. Not long ago JBOH and SIEB took off, mostly in sympathy to AMTD, SCH and EGRP news. Another place to look is with ISP and portal deals and providers. I am sure there are other examples to validate the connection. KT
